FLi Brand / Product Development

FLi, the interactive arm of the Football League commissioned Sportswise to run a two-staged research project including an online survey and an online user forum. The objectives of the work was to deliver benchmark user data across all official websites under the FLi banner and then to provide specific insight on product, brand and areas for development.

Sportswise designed and hosted an online survey and captures more than 4000 survey responses. The initial survey covered:

Stage 1 : Online survey

- Usage behavior

- Attitude and opinion towards club sites

- Price sensitivity for subscription

- Satisfaction and value for money

Stage 2 : Online Forum

Sportswise set up an online forum and invited 30 stage 1 participants to a more detailed discussion on:

- Brand design

- Products for development

- Barriers to adoption

Our Feedback

The results have helped us to understand what prompts use of these services and how we might help minimise churn. They have also given us a solid benchmark for customer satisfaction with World sites and we intend to do regular research to ensure we keep informed on our customers and their needs and behaviour  Ben Watts, Marketing Manager, FLi
